Cynthia Burns Martin is the current chair of the editorial board for The Transnational Journal of Business, the ACBSP Scholar Practitioner Publications Committee (SPPC). Martin is Associate Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and tenured Professor of Business Administration at New England College, in Henniker, New Hampshire, where she has been employed since 1985. Martin is the author of two books published by Arcadia.  For over a decade, Martin was editor-in-chief of Edge Sports Adventure NH, a now-defunct commercial tabloid distributed through welcome centers operated by NH Department of Travel and Tourism. Martin holds a degree in English literature from Smith College and began her career working for a retail bookseller and two book publishers.
